After the Binding (A.B.) and Before the Binding (B.B.) qualify years in the calendar system of the Wide World, whose epoch is the year of the Binding, which ended the Last War and the Days of Wrath. A.B. counts years since the epoch, B.B. the years before the epoch.
The current year is 1374 A.B., though it will turn to 1375 in about a week.
