The Elder Children are the six Kindreds created by the Kembar prior to the First War. Unlike the Kembar, the Elder Children were intended to be a union of flesh and spirit; their bodies are as integral to their being as their souls.
Given their expertise on the matter of spirits, Doremil had a part in the making of all the Elder Children save Men, who were made in secret by Laegos.
While their status as embodied spirits makes them extraordinarily alike metaphysically, each Kindred of the Children was also bestowed with different gifts and forms according to the whims of their maker.
