Arbezmara, or the Flower, is the member of the Kembar who has the greatest mastery over light, stars, and the sun. Her name is associated with grief and sorrow, but also pity, love, and courage. She, in partnership with Laegos, created the Elves.
From “Concerning the Kembar”
Arbezmara delights in the stars, knowing everything of their beginnings and ends. If the Children are to behold her, they say that she is so fair of feature, and so bright, that light seems to shine forth from her. And verily light is her power. She is the Daymaker, the Painter. Mūsphek is her brush of starlight, with which she sends her sun rays gleaming to break open a cloud-wrapped sky or night.
She is beloved by all things that grow, most of all flowers, in which she finds a special pleasure; and she is revered by those who must ply a gray and stormy sea, or travel under darkness, whom she is glad to avail. For Arbezmara is the most gracious of the Kembar. Pity comes to her easily; and that quality attends her, so that none may gainsay her succor. Gimīlhizar loved her, and pursued her; but she rejected him utterly, thereby fomenting in him shame and secret rage, of which she knew naught ere his fall.
