In the north of the world, Zhē Drūmor in ages past reared Mārosh Mālder, the Fell Mountains, as a fence to his citadel of Meldutha; and they stand to this day upon the borders of the regions of everlasting frost in a great curve from east to west.
The Khephnār, one of the boundary rivers of the Far North has its source in the Fell Mountains. They also feed the Sea of Regimen and briny Ūgaden.
Lugal the Dragon vanished into the Fell Mountains at the end of the Last War, fearing wrath and retribution.
Etymology
Mārosh Mālder is made up of mārosh (“mountain range”) and the inanimate form of māldor (“evil, wicked”).
