The White Sea, also called the Frog Sea and the Western Sea, is the ocean to the west of Rhusagos and Patrinor. Beyond it lie the Moonless Lands of the Far West.
Of all the Children, only the Trogmunders have explored the whole of the White Sea, for the Home Islands, from whence they hail, lie near its center.
Hurricanes develop in the warmer waters of the White Sea’s south near Ponbar. In late summer and through autumn, these storms travel north toward Patrinor, and sometimes into the Great Chasmous Sea, making maritime travel very hazardous.
