The Ninth House is a secret order unknown to the Eight Houses.
They were founded by the Raven shortly before they sacrificed themselves to complete the Binding, with the express purpose of preventing the rest of the Kembar from ever undoing the Binding and returning to the Wide World. To achieve that aim, the Ninth House hid their existence from the other Houses so that they might operate without interference.
It is thought that the majority of the Ninth House’s assets are in Patrinor, given the region’s technological and economic superiority over the rest of the Wide World.
Governance
The Ninth House has organized itself into a clandestine cell system, with each cell consisting of a relatively small number of people with limited knowledge on the House as a whole. All cells operate independently, only rarely receiving orders from a “handler” that exists further up in the hierarchy.
Whoever directs the Ninth House has hidden their identity well. No information is currently available on them.
History
Eol Firenze was directed to join the Allhammers in an initiative by the Ninth House to position more assets in Relkor. After the Return of the Kembar, Eol’s handler, Aderyn Sly, evacuated the party out of Summarch and removed them to Patrinor for their safety.
