The Day After Landfall
The ship reached the island at night, and the party set up camp ashore.
Aderyn experienced a vivid, memory-like dream of a pine forest where ravens cawed an old name of his: Umag. He reached a peak and encountered a raven whose wings resembled a starry night. This figure recognized his “long service” and stated they would speak again when he “came home”.
The next morning, the party split up for various tasks.
- Leon climbed a mountain and ruminated on the events of the past month.
- El completed her ballista.
- Frösted foraged for alchemical supplies.
- Babar joined a hunting party.
While tracking a boar, Babar discovered a cave in a cliff featuring ancient Trogmunder carvings and depictions of the Pilot. Babar swiftly returned to camp to report his findings.
Mounting an Expedition
The party informed the captain of their intent to investigate the ruins in the cliff, claiming they were expecting treasure, though in truth they were hoping to find secreted information regarding the Kembar. After a half-hour hike to the ruins, the session ended just outside the cave entrance.
