Termos
Termos, which means the Riving River, is the principal river of Hoarland, being the border of Khōrgos and Drakhor.
Once it exits the Mountain Wall, its source, the vale of Termos slopes steadily downward and thus has neither falls nor rapids, unlike the Watchwater to the west. It passes through Lake Gharad before hastening toward the Sea of Regimen. The river’s only major crossing is the Termoreth, south of which lies Agos Bahīn, the Corpse-Land.
Etymology
Termos is the agent perfective participle of tezhmi, termi (“separate, divide, split”), translating literally as (“entity that divided something”).
