The Bloodless are an invention of the Grandmother, being corpses ruined with unlife, their spirits forced to stay in the body past their time. They are without blood, and survive on dark magicks of the Void summoned by glyphs carved into their chests, which also compel them to obey the commands of their masters. Given their lack of blood, they are undetectable by dowsing or other magical means, making them excellent spies and assassins.

The process through which the Bloodless are created is a lore known only to the Grandmother.

The Hooded Man was the first of the Bloodless.
