Sappers have a versatile role in war. These individuals are responsible not only for building encampments, siege engines, roads, and more to support their armies, but also for seeking out and destroying many of the same that the enemy possesses. Often seen as dangerous pyromaniacs, most Sappers also possess a deep understanding of the physics behind combustion and explosion on an intuitive level as well as an academic one. Oh, and they’re not mindless destroyers, they’re artists. Ask any Sapper.
